Job Description:

HHA Training Instructor (RN) works under the direct supervision of the School Director to design, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate course programs conducted by HHA Training School.

Bilingual HHA Training Instructor (RN) Responsibilities:

> Teach the school curricula approved by the NYS Department of Education;
> Prepare lesson plans based on the content of topics and skills practice;
> Provide theory and practical (lab, skills) instruction to the students;
> Accompany students for an internship to affiliated facilities;
> Develop and strategize class schedule to meet students' learning needs;
> Facilitate and improve current course programs;
> Prepare testing materials to evaluate students' performance;
> Coordinate school program-related events;
> Perform additional duties designated by the School Administrator to achieve the success of school course programs.


Bilingual HHA Training Instructor (RN) Qualifications:

> Knowledge of ONE of the following second languages is a MUST: Spanish or Russian or Chinese or Arabic or Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi or French Creole;
> Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License (at least 1 year from the effective date);
> A minimum of 2 years RN experience in Home Care supervision/training/visiting/fieldwork (must be supported by a professional reference);
> Teaching Permit from the Education Department (we provide instructions if needed);
> Ability to develop and implement programs related to HHA Training School;
> Good organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills;
> Teaching experience a PLUS;
> The ability to conceive, develop, and complete tasks without close supervision;
> The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects;
> Proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office;
> Willingness and flexibility in class shifts.

Medical Assistant Course Instructor
Job Description

We are looking for experienced Medical Assistants with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience working within a physician's office or laboratory to join our team in either the day Monday – Friday from 10 am until 3:00 pm, or evenings Mondays - Friday 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, or Weekends 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Medical Assistant Instructor is responsible for teaching one to two courses described in the Medical Assistant program each cycle. This includes utilizing effective teaching tools such as audio/visual equipment and reference materials; preparing lesson plans and learning experiences; following an established course outline; managing a classroom of students; evaluating students through testing and other related means and reporting on and recording class and individual student progress.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years clinical experience working within a physician's office
  • Valid NYC Medical Assistant License
  • Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word a plus
  • An ability to learn new methodologies and systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have a Teaching experience
  • Must be Bilingual (Russian, or Spanish, or Chinese, etc.)
